Title Management and Indesign Indepth-Session 1
We begin a series of sessions on creating catalogs and other materials in Indesign. In this session we will demonstrate techniques for integrating Title Management with Indesign via XML. We will review a technique we call 'Frames based' for catalogs with varying layouts on each page. We will also discuss 'best practices' for catalog workflow from copy writer to graphic designer. Resources will be made available for participants to practice on their own. In future sessions we will demonstrate the 'Placeholders' technique for catalogs with more consistent designs and review the techniques in more detail, dealing with fine tuning for practical success.
